  • Wipe the crystal with a dry or barely damp cloth and dry immediately — never soak or rinse it, as salt dissolves in water.
  • Keep it in a dry spot away from humidity, steam and damp rooms; salt draws moisture from the air and can weep.
  • If the surface becomes damp, dry it and run the lamp to help it dry out.
