Yao Bian glazing is a kiln process where the colour is never entirely decided in advance, so each piece comes out of the fire with its own gradient. The narrow 7.5 cm mouth holds a single stem upright without any arranging skill required. At 26 cm tall it has presence on a mantel, but the shape stays humble.
