HNF004 is a fougère in the proper sense: bergamot and basil open it bright and herbaceous, lavender and cardamom settle the middle, then patchouli, vetiver and oakmoss carry it into a dry, slightly smoky finish. Its companion HNF005 goes the other way — ocean breeze and bergamot into rose, lily and hibiscus, landing on mango, amber and musk. Two atmospheres from the same shelf: one refined and grounded, one soft and dreamy.

  • Trim the wick to about 5 mm before each burn to keep the flame even and the scent throw clean. Let the first burn form a full melt pool to the edge so the wax does not tunnel, and keep individual burns to around four hours. Never leave a lit candle unattended, keep it away from drafts and flammable objects, and stop burning when roughly 1 cm of wax remains.
